Judith Hong Wilkin is the founder and principal lawyer of Hong Wilkin Business Law (JHW), with 22 years of experience including 20 years practicing on Bay Street, Canada’s financial centre.
Prior to founding JHW in 2019, Judith was a partner at the Toronto-based full business law firm of Fogler, Rubinoff LLP specializing in corporate and securities law practices. Judith has expertise in transactions involving investing in or acquiring Canadian companies, and has represented investors in structuring the transactions, performing due diligence on the target companies, drafting transaction documents, overseeing the closing of transactions and handling other related legal matters. Judith also has extensive experience in securities and capital markets, representing issuers, investors and dealer/brokers in private placement financings, going public transactions by initial public offerings or reverse take-overs, and prospectus offerings. Judith also helps clients in establishing real estate, venture capital and other investment funds.
Judith’s practice also includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, representing buyers and sellers in purchase and sale transactions, as well as lenders and borrowers in mortgage transactions.
